This free one-day conference focuses on the concerns and interests of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth up to age 24, and their allies. This year’s conference is themed “What's Next?”.
To be held in the Rainbow Room of the Utah Pride Center. We encourage you to join us for all or part of the day.
The schedule of the day is as following:

- 11:30 – 1st Workshop: Queer Time Travel with Arnold Pomerantz
Hear the words and the music of Harlem and the blues, which your gay ancestors danced and lived by. Get to know LGBTQ heroes and heroines whose shoulders you stand on, who allowed you the freedom to be out, proud and free. Follow events that led up to Stonewall from the jazz age 20's, depression, WWII, the
50's, Rock and Roll, Sex, drugs and the pill.

- 2:30pm – 2nd Workshop: Gender, Language, and Media with Eli Erick
Gender, Language, and Media is a workshop geared towards those involved in media and writing ranging from professional journalists to personal blogging. In this workshop, we’ll be working with you to address deconstruct cissexist language that is often used in telling trans* narratives and providing (con’t) K.McCloskey/Los Angeles LGBT Center friendly alternatives. With videos, examples, and group discussions, attendees of
this workshop will come away with a greater knowledge of how media interacts with the trans* community.
